Welcome to NIC - 2019, Lucknow

On behalf of UP-CSI-NIC, it is our pleasure to announce that Cardiological society of India –UP–CSI Branch has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing the Mid-term meeting of National Interventional Council scheduled to be held from 5th, 6th & 7th April 2019 at Lucknow, UP, India.

The National Interventional Council (NIC) is the Interventional faction of the Cardiological Society of India (CSI), representing more than 3000 interventional cardiologists. Every year in the month of April, CSI-NIC organizes a knowledge exchange fiesta, spread over 3 days comprising of academic sessions of the highest quality incorporating deliberations, didactic lectures, debates and interactive sessions on latest topics of interventional cardiology and cutting edge technology. In addition the program includes CD case presentations on various coronary and non-coronary intervention techniques, technologies, complications and nightmares.

The scientific program will be structured to encourage active participation not only from young interventional cardiologists but also from the leading senior experts from India and abroad. NIC 2019 shall aim to provide a strong teaching platform by promoting interactive discussions, sharing knowledge and clinical expertise with the sole aim of advancing cardiology care to the highest level. The meeting shall also showcase novel interventional technologies and devices by the industry as part of the scientific exhibition so as to bring the participants upto date with the recent advances in interventional Cardiology.

NIC 2019 promises to bring together the collaborative efforts from interventional cardiologists all over the world to disseminate knowledge of new therapeutic modalities and interventional techniques to the participants.
